"Coupled operando EPR as a powerful tool for mechanistic investigations of catalytic reactions"
Leibniz Institute for Catalysis at the University of Rostock
Jabor Rabeah received his Ph.D. degree in chemistry from Humboldt-University of Berlin, Germany in 2007. Currently, he is a group leader of magnetic resonance and X-ray methods at Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT Rostock). His immediate research interests focus on developing combined operando and in situ spectroscopic techniques for tracking catalytic processes under realistic catalytic reactions (normally under elevated pressures and temperatures), all of which are underpinned through structure-activity relationships in gas-solid, gas-liquid, liquid-solid and gas-liquid-solid systems. Recently, special attention has been dedicated to simultaneous coupling of several operando methods in one experiment such as EPR, XANES/EXAFS, ATR-IR, and UV-Vis spectroscopy.
