"Concerto catalysis of transition metals and zeolite microporous sieves"
cMACS, KULeuven, Belgium
Dirk De Vos has been a Full Professor in Catalysis at KULeuven since 2006. He is fascinated by the applications of zeolites and molecular sieves in general (including MOFs) to adsorption and catalytic reactions of organic molecules. Particular fields of interest are C-H activation of arenes, oxidative transformations (possibly with electro-assistance), and depolymerization of step-growth polymers, including polyamides and polyurethanes. He is an Associate Editor at RSC’s Catalysis Science and Technology.
