He is fascinated by the applications of zeolites and molecular sieves in general (including MOFs) to adsorption and catalytic reactions of organic molecules. Particular fields of interest are C-H activation of arenes, oxidative transformations (possibly with electro-assistance), and depolymerization of step-growth polymers, including polyamides and polyurethanes.
